David Slack, Principal |
| David provides retirement community Board and senior staff leaders with strategic planning, financial projections, operational, managerial, and development services, plus advice related to investment banking services. Prior to joining ARI, David was Senior Vice President at a national investment banking firm specializing in financing senior living organizations; a Principal in the consulting firm of Third Age, Inc.; and, he has served as the President of Asbury Development and Management, Retirement Management Company and Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America. He has worked in the continuing care retirement community field since 1974. He graduated from the University of Kansas. Lydia Pugh, Ed.D.,
Principal |
Lydia has been with ARI since 2006 and leads strategic planning, organizational and leadership/governance development initiatives for clients as well as providing advisory services specific to marketing and market research. Prior to joining ARI she was the Director of Research and Strategic Planning for Spectrum, Inc., was Vice President of Marketing for Asbury Development and Management, and the Director of Marketing Services for Van Scoyoc Associates. She holds a BA in Liberal Arts from Goddard College, an MS in Marketing from Johns Hopkins University, and an Ed.D. in Organizational Development from The George Washington University. Tony Ewert, Principal |
| Tony’s experience is in operations and project development, beginning his career in 1979 as a licensed nursing home administrator. Prior to joining the ARI team, Tony served as Senior Vice President for Praxeis, a retirement community development and consulting firm based in Florida. In his role, Tony was involved with the initial planning, start up, and ongoing operations of several major CCRC’s in three States. He has served as Vice President of Operations for Asbury Management & Development, Retirement Management Company, and Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America. Tony has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Wichita State University, and has completed 40 graduate hours at the Center for Studies in Aging, University of North Texas. Jim Bondurant, Principal |
| Jim applies his experience and financial talents in the operational, financial and planning analysis for clients. Jim previously served as the CEO and CFO of a large skilled nursing facility in the Kansas City area for 9 years. Jim also worked as the Director of Finance for Retirement Management Company, a Midwest consulting and management company for retirement communities. Jim has held an Adult Care Home Administrator License, has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Kansas and is a Fellow with Distinction with the Life Management Office Association. Eric Huebert, Associate |
Eric assists in the research, analysis, writing and preparation of reports, documents, spreadsheets, presentations, data bases for clients of the organization, and has been involved in numerous development projects, market analysis, and strategic planning engagements.
